The Role

To manage the day-to-day sales and leasing activity in the Abu Dhabi office, ensuring monthly and annual targets are achieved consistently through the management of the sales and leasing team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of all Sales/Leasing staff based within the assigned office, ensuring targets are met or exceeded from a personal and team perspective
  • Full awareness and understanding of local market/dedicated areas
  • Ensure effective management of the applicant process and enquiries
  • Provision of valuations as required
  • Senior negotiator on key offers through to exchange of contracts, liaising closely with buyers, sellers, and other agents in a chain situation
  • Liaison between buyers/sellers, tenants/landlords
  • Promote the firm’s brand and business activities
  • Promote cross-selling between service lines across the business when possible
  • General administration, system and process refinement
  • Full understanding of relevant legislation and procedures in the local market with respect to the purchase, sale or lease of a property.

 People

  • Build excellent working relationships with other Sales and Leasing’s Managers and staff in the region
  • Day to day management of a Sales/Leasing team
  • Setting objectives and targets for team members, individually and as a collective
  • Conducting performance appraisals with team members
  • Identifying staff strengths and development areas
  • Assisting with recruitment where necessary
  • Networking with other professionals in the market to strengthen work opportunities and relationship.

Clients and business development

  • Identifying new exclusive leasing opportunities and presenting to potential clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
  • Ability to develop compelling proposals and pitch in to obtain new instructions
  • Identify creative and innovative marketing initiatives to generate new business in conjunction with the Marketing team.

 Financial

  • Assisting Head of Residential Sales/Leasing / Office Head with the setting of office budgets and targets
  • Drive achievement of individual and team targets to ensure financial forecast is achieved
  • Overseeing office budget, monitoring expenditure and financial income.

 Systems and process

  • Evaluate, adapt and improve standards, techniques and procedures
  • Ensure that team are utilising tools effectively and following company policy with regards lead management and reporting
  • Adheres to and manages processes in accordance with internal and accredited requirements and local practices
  • Contribute to wider projects across the country and region.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Educated to at least Higher education level
  • UAE driving license holder and vehicle owner
  • Demonstrable record in residential property with at the requisite senior level
  • Negotiation skills
  • Selling skills
  • Confident in presentation delivery
  • People Management
  • Understanding of sales targets and office income
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail
