The Role

The Hard Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the maintenance, repair and replacement of building systems, equipment and infrastructure working, reporting to the facilities manager.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repair work, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems through 3rd party contractors
  • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry best practice and regulations
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce repair costs
  • Develop budgets for maintenance and repair activities
  • Oversee emergency repair requests, troubleshoot problems and arrange repairs as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities and costs
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential maintenance and repair needs
  • Work with facility management to identify and prioritize maintenance and or repair projects
  • Participate in facility planning and design projects, providing input on building systems, equipment and infrastructure
  • Actively promote and implement ESG initiatives across the compound and drive the adoption of policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered consistently across the compound
  • Be abreast of any new initiatives, which could improve ESG performance across the compound
  • Work with the Savills site team to assist in the planning and smooth delivery of events and community programmes across the compound.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as engineering or facilities management
  • Relevant experience in facilities maintenance and repair, including experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
  • Knowledge of local building codes, industry best practice and regulations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
